Sydney Survivors and our fantastic clients take pride in assisting great community organisations to raise funds to assist with their continued hard work and to provide those in need with some assistance.

Below are some of the recent charities that Sydney Survivors has held fund raising drives for, with a testimonial outlining the funds received by the charity & how the money would help...

Starlight Children's Foundation Supporter

Sydney Survivors put a team of 75 members in the Blackmores Half & Full Marathon.  In this event, our team raised over $15000 for the Starlight Foundation.

"Every minute of every day a child is admitted to hospital in Australia. Starlight is there to give the child fun, laughter and hope when they need it most. Thank you Sydney Survivors for helping us to do that through your amazing fundraising efforts. Starlight receives no government funding and we would not be able to offer the programs that we do to the many seriously ill children across Australia, without the dedication from groups like the Sydney Survivors.

In order to give you an example of where $15,000 would go, this would help 405 children access the Starlight services within paediatric hospitals such as the Starlight Express Rooms with Captain Starlight, craft activities, Starlight TV, Starlight ward visits and Starlight fun centre’s.

We hold a number of morning teas every year at Randwick and Westmead hospital where we show fundraisers where their money has gone, so if you were keen we would love to invite you and a guest to one of those."

Sydney Survivors put a team of 55 members in the Sydney Half Marathon.  In this event, our team raised over $20000 for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia.

"Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) was delighted to be the official charity partner for the 20th Sydney Morning Herald Half Marathon, presented by Colonial First State. One of the highlights of the day was meeting The Sydney Survivors Team who were the highest fundraising team, raising over $20,000 for BCNA.

The Sydney Survivors Team had a very special reason for taking part in the Half Marathon and supporting BCNA - one of their team members was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. BCNA staff were thrilled to be able to meet The Sydney Survivors team members after the race and thank them for their extraordinary efforts in both competing in the event and fundraising for BCNA."
